Established in 2004, PE3 has grown from a specialist pipeline installation business into an experienced and trusted infrastructure contractor operating across multiple utility and infrastructure sectors.
The business was originally established by Glenn Mosley as a sole trader, with Glenn and Robert Teeney forming the initial two-man team. From the outset, the company focused on delivering specialist polyethylene pipeline installation services, building a reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and long-term client relationships.
In 2007, Warren Simpson joined the business, bringing significant experience in sales, business development and major gas infrastructure projects. His arrival strengthened the commercial side of the business, allowing the team to combine technical expertise with a greater focus on business development, client relationships and sustainable growth.
The foundations of PE3 are built on extensive experience within the utilities and infrastructure industries. Prior to establishing PE3, Glenn and Robert worked within the polyethylene pipeline industry with Fusion Provida, a leading supply and distribution company manufacturing and servicing products and equipment for the gas and water utilities markets.
Warren brought significant experience from McNicholas Construction, now Kier Construction, and Phoenix Natural Gas, working across major gas infrastructure projects, including the Belfast Gas Project.
The Belfast Gas Project was one of the largest projects of its kind in the UK, involving the installation of high-, medium- and low-pressure gas distribution and supply infrastructure across Belfast and Greater Belfast. Beginning in 1996, the project provided valuable experience of delivering complex utility infrastructure within a major urban environment.
